About Me

I'm a marine biologist based in Fife, Scotland.

I'm currently a PhD student at the University of St Andrews, investigating seal behaviour around marine renewable energy developments. Driven by an interest in the impacts of human activity on marine ecosystems, my research interests include biologging, movement ecology, and the effects of underwater noise on marine life.

I grew up in Edinburgh, before coming to St Andrews in 2010 to study for an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology. Since then, I have finished a Master's in Marine Mammal Science, completed a one-year studentship at The Conservation Volunteers and National Museums Scotland, and gained a variety of experience in marine biology research, fieldwork, teaching and public engagement.

If you would like to get in touch, please drop me an email.
