About Me

I'm an ecological statistician and marine biologist based in Fife, Scotland.

Since 2021, I have been an ecological statistician at Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland (BioSS), carrying out quantitative research into the potential effects of offshore renewable energy on seabirds and marine mammals. Prior to this, I completed my PhD at the University of St Andrews, investigating seal movement and dive behaviour around marine renewable energy developments.

I grew up in Edinburgh, before coming to St Andrews in 2010 to study for an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology. Since then, I have finished a Master's in Marine Mammal Science, completed a one-year studentship at The Conservation Volunteers and National Museums Scotland and, through different positions, gained a variety of experience in research, fieldwork, teaching and public engagement.

If you would like to get in touch, please drop me an email.
